Destin Dreaming

Well, in case you didn't guess it, I really hate winter and am dreaming of spring and summer.  Today I'm really dreaming about Destin, FL.  Why, you may ask.  Well, my friend Ken Rada, was just there and kept sending me pictures of what he was up to...

And, for my Lilly Pulitzer loving friends:

It really makes me want to be on the beach!  I love the new direction he's taking with the more artistic prints.  What about you?  Of course, this is just a very small sampling of his work and I'm sure Ken would love to hear from you if you're interested in any of the samples here or other samples of his work.  Please let him know you heard about him from me.


I also love Destin, because it's a place we  go to relax as a family.  Now, I have to be a mommy for a minute and brag about my 5 year old girl.  This was a class assignment several weeks ago...

Sorry the quality isn't so great, but this gives you an idea how happy she is there, too!


I really want to be able to relax on the beach and watch the surf and NOT freeze to death anymore!  


Oh, if you are ever in Destin, we highly recommend the Hilton Sandestin.  It's a great resort that has many amenities and is right on the beach.  This is were we like to stay and, no, they are not compensating me for this!  But, maybe I should see about a free vacation. ;)  I REALLY need one...
